As we enter 2022 and embark on another beautiful cycle around the sun, I am determined to live a simple life with an open heart and work on finding that deep sense of peace and acceptance within myself.

Often, in order to know ourselves in harmony, we must know ourselves in dissonance.

Little did I know I was about to experience some of the hardest days of my entire life, simply by sitting still.

A story about my decision to take my journey deeper inwards and participate in a Vipassana meditation retreat.

The hardest part wasn’t figuring out what I really wanted. It was realising what I’d be willing to give up in order to achieve it.

I write these reflections as I enter my 33rd year of life and reflect on time, patience, courage and what it means to feel truly content.

What does it mean to be “home”?

I am in an arena of perfection, nothing good or bad, nothing north or south, nothing right or wrong. It is a realm of pure, peaceful oneness.

It might be hard to believe that it is possible to tap into something that we cannot see. But there is so much that we don’t know about our universe.

Koh Phangan - an island of duality where magic can happen at any moment… and you can also lose your shoes at a secret beach party.

It’s 2019, I’m 32 years old and I’ve surrendered to the natural flow of the universe, which called me to Koh Phangan, Thailand.

Whether you are on the mountaintop or in the marketplace, you can still feel the same sun.

It’s been a journey full of magic and miracles, human connectivity and love, inspiration and enthusiasm, and of course, a journey full of lessons.

I am writing this as if I am a child again, a whole new world of knowledge appearing before my eyes.
